Ceremony

Getting married in the backcountry can pose some challenges but it is possible. We can even arrange for a marriage commissioner and a photographer to accompany you out by foot, bike, skis or helicopter to have your ceremony in the exact perfect location.

If you want to get married in a more civilized setting first and then go on your backcountry adventure, we can help with that as well, including venue, transportation, flowers, spa bookings, hair and make-up arrangements, dinner reservations and so on.

Accommodation

Depending on what your specific plans are, you may need some nights in a hotel, motel or hostel, and you may need some in an Alpine Hut or backcountry campground. We are knowledgeable in all areas and can help arrange your accommodation.

Transportation

How will you be getting to and from your adventure and activities? Do you need a shuttle van? A helicopter ride? Rental vehicle? We can help plan and arrange any kind of transportation.

Gear

You probably have all your own gear at home, but are you going to transport it all here, or are you going to be looking to buy or rent some gear once you get here? We can assist with purchase and rental of any kind of backcountry gear, and can advise as to what kinds of gear you will need.

Outdoor Adventures

There are lots of great outdoor adventures to have in the Canadian Rocky Mountains. Would you like to:
- Backpack the world famous Skyline Trail in Jasper?
- Take a series of day hikes in the Banff and Lake Louise area?
- Head out to Fernie for some mountain biking?
- Do a cycle tour from Jasper to Banff, or the very popular (with the locals) "Golden Triangle"?
- Do some backcountry skiing in Kananaskis Country, the secret paradise of Alberta?

Whatever you want to do, we know where and how to do it and can help with all the arrangements to make it happen seamlessly - we'll take care of the logistics and you take care of having the adventure. Tell us where you want to go, what you want to do, and what you want to see, and we can help with the planning and logistics.

Or, if you're not exactly sure what you want to do, give us a set of basic parameters and we will plan out an adventure that will meet your needs.

Safety: The Rocky Mountain backcountry is breathtakingly beautiful and serene. There is no place like it. It can also be very dangerous if you're not sure what you're doing. We are very knowledgeable in:
- Bear safety
- Tick bite concerns
- Water treatment
- Weather and conditions
- Altitude
- Avalanche danger

Our adventure plans will include all the information you need for a wonderful and safe time!

Contingency Planning: Often our trails in the Rocky Mountains are closed, or unsuitable for travel due to weather or wildlife reasons. As your adventure planner, we will monitor all conditions in your adventure, advise if any changes are necessary as the date draws near, and will have some back-up plans at the ready in case significant changes to your plans are required.
